Last updated: 18 May 2026 — These are the Conditions générales de vente (“CGV”) of BATI Z, governing all consumer purchases on batizz.com. They comply with the French Consumer Code (Code de la consommation, Art. L221-5 and following) and EU Directive 2011/83/EU (Consumer Rights Directive).
1. Parties
Seller: BATI Z (SARL), SIRET 882 651 011 00018, registered office 14 Rue Régine Gosset, 93300 Aubervilliers, France. Email support@batizz.com.
Buyer: any natural person of legal age purchasing a product on batizz.com for personal, non-professional use (the “Customer”). For B2B orders, separate written conditions apply — contact us.
2. Acceptance and contract formation
By clicking “Place Order” the Customer accepts these Terms without reservation. The sales contract is formed at the moment the Seller sends the order confirmation email to the Customer’s address. The Customer is encouraged to save and print these Terms and the order confirmation.
3. Products
The Seller sells curated DIY wall-decor and paint-tool kits and individual supplies (the “Products”). Photographs are illustrative; minor variations in packaging or individual components are normal. The Seller reserves the right to substitute a component with an equivalent of equal or greater value if a supplier is unavailable, and will notify the Customer if the substitution is material.
Stock is shown in real time; in the rare event a Product becomes unavailable after order, the Seller will refund the Customer in full within 5 business days.
4. Prices and currency
Prices are displayed in EUR (€) including French VAT (TVA) for EU/UK consumers. For EU and UK Customers, prices include VAT at the rate of their country. For US, Canada and Australia, prices are tax-exclusive and applicable sales tax / GST is added at checkout where the Seller has economic nexus. Import duties may apply on non-EU/UK delivery and are payable by the Customer.
Shipping cost is added at checkout. Orders over €150 ship free worldwide.
Prices are subject to change at any time, but the price applied to an order is the one displayed at the moment the order is placed.
5. Payment
Payment is processed by Stripe Payments Europe Ltd., a PCI-DSS Level 1 certified payment service provider. Accepted methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Link, SEPA Direct Debit (EU). The transaction will appear on the Customer’s statement as “BATIZ DECOR“. The Seller never sees or stores the Customer’s full card details.
Full payment is taken at the time the order is placed. The contract is suspended until payment is confirmed.
6. Order confirmation, shipping, delivery
The Customer receives an order confirmation email immediately and a shipping confirmation with tracking link when the order is dispatched (typically within 2 business days). Estimated delivery times by region are listed in our Shipping Policy.
Risk of loss passes to the Customer at the moment the parcel is handed to the Customer or to a person designated by the Customer (other than the carrier). The Customer is responsible for the accuracy of the shipping address provided.
7. Right of withdrawal (14-day cooling-off)
Pursuant to French Consumer Code Article L221-18 and following, the Customer has 14 calendar days from the day after receipt to withdraw from the contract without giving any reason. To exercise this right, email support@batizz.com with order number and intent to withdraw, before the 14-day deadline expires. The Customer may also use the standard withdrawal form below.
The Customer must return the Product within 14 days of notifying withdrawal. The Customer bears the return shipping cost unless the Seller agreed otherwise. The Seller refunds the full purchase price (including original outbound shipping for standard delivery) within 14 days of receipt of the returned Product, or evidence the Product was returned, whichever is sooner. The refund is issued via the original payment method unless the Customer agrees to another method.
7a. Exceptions to the right of withdrawal (Code de la consommation Art. L221-28)
The right of withdrawal does not apply to:
- Goods that have been unsealed after delivery and cannot be returned for reasons of hygiene or health protection — this covers our Wallpaper Removal Kit liquids, opened paint test samples, and any opened chemical-containing item.
- Goods which become inseparably mixed with other items after delivery (e.g. applied wallpaper, used paint).
- Goods made to the Customer’s specifications (custom orders) — not currently offered.
At checkout, when a kit containing a chemical-containing item is in the cart, the Customer must acknowledge this exclusion via a dedicated checkbox.
